Castletownbere to Allihies

This hike gives us the Irish views that we are all in search off, mountain views with peaks shrouded in snow, shady old wood forests filled with ferns and faerie hiding places, ruins and standing stones, the colorful and picturesque Eyeries, the coastline of Coulagh Bay, and the ruins of the old copper mines. Stopping at the Allihies Copper Mine Museum and Cafe promises a view into the Irish economy of the 1800's and a refreshing snack.
