Castlegregory, Camp, Tralee

This hike takes us out of Castlegregory along the coastline until we venture up to follow the northern slope of the Slieve Mish Mountains into Tralee. On the way we can search for the standing stones at Aughacasla and the forgotten ruins of the Killelton Church.  Trekking along the mountain slope we have the farmlands and sea off to our left with the Slieve Mish towering to the right. The trail brings us into Tralee and we follow the waymarks past the Bennerville Windmill and over the bridge to walk along the Tralee Ship Canal built in 1846 to service the largest city in Kerry.
